What business funding actually requires
Every program sets its own floor on credit, time in business, and revenue. Here they are side by side, so you can see where you stand before you apply anywhere.
These are what our lending partners typically ask for. Individual lenders set their own criteria, availability differs by state and by industry, and meeting a floor means a lender will consider your application rather than approve it.

US Loan Portal is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. We provide information and introduce business owners to third-party lending partners. All funding is subject to lender approval, and amounts, rates, and terms are set by the lender. Ranges shown are typical and not an offer of credit.
Three things worth knowing
Requirements are floors, not guarantees. Clearing one means a lender will look at your application, not that they will approve it.
Credit is the fastest lever
It is the one requirement you can move on your own, and it opens the most doors. At 680 and above, programs exist that ask for no trading history at all.
Time in business matters less than people assume
Several of our lending partners start at one to three months. The ones demanding two years are the cheapest, not the only ones.
An asset changes the maths
Equipment financing is secured by the thing you are buying, which is why its credit floor is among the lowest here. Invoice factoring works the same way, secured by what your customers owe you.
